According to Shams Charania from The Athletic, Harden will now be represented by Troy Payne, who will join forces with agents Mike Silverman and Brandon Grier.
The player has functioned throughout the majority of his 13-year NBA career without an NBA. Most recently, he hired Jason Ranne and Chafie Fields from Wasserman to work with the Houston Rockets on a trade to the Brooklyn Nets back in 2021.
ESPN wrote at the time that both Ranne and Fields played crucial roles in getting the trade between the two teams done. Harden parted ways with both agents in the summer of 2021.
Last offseason, Harden declined his player option of $47.4 million and signed a two-year $68 million deal with the 76ers with a player option for the next season.
