With 7 minutes and 26 seconds left, the referees of the match decided to leave the game when fans of both teams did not calm down and continued throwing things onto the court.

Earlier in the second half, the match was temporarily stopped when Crvena Zvezda fans started throwing stuff at Mathias Lessort when he was shooting free throws for an unsportsmanlike foul.

Moments later, Branko Lazic publicly asked his team's fans to calm down or else the game would be in jeopardy. Early in the fourth quarter, Danilo Andjusic did the same thing and took the microphone, addressing Partizan fans.

At the moment of the stoppage, Crvena Zvezda was leading 69-60 after a tremendous second-half effort.

20 minutes after the stoppage, both Andjusic and Lazic addressed their respective fans, asking for the incidents to stop.

The match was resumed after approximately half an hour of stoppage.

Earlier in the game, Zvezda's head coach Dusko Ivanovic was ejected from the game after quickly receiving two technical fouls while protesting a non-call against Filip Petrusev.
