The day after the eternal derby between Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade and Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade, the Basketball Association of Serbia officially announced that the black-and-white team filed a complaint about the outcome of the match.

Partizan made a protest immediately after the game and paid a fixed fee for such an off-court move.

The complaint focused on game interruptions, fans, and referees.

After the collected documentation, Serbia's Basketball Association rejected Partizan's appeal.

The organization registered the final result of the Serbian derby (Red Star won 83-75).

Friday's game had to be stopped multiple times due to fans misbehaving and throwing things onto the court. Branko LazicandDanilo Andjusichad to publicly calm their respective fans down using the announcer's microphone.

When things got out of hand, the game's referees left the court and the game was stopped for approximately half an hour.

Talking about it after the game, Partizan's head coachZeljko Obradovicpublicly slammed the local authorities.

This was the fourth match between the teams this year. The first battle in the ABA League in late Novemberhad to be suspended as well. Notably, the two latter bouts in the EuroLeague went incident-free.
