He was caught on camera actively encouraging his brothers, including Thanasis and Alex, as well as the newest member of the family, Jrue Holiday.
When asked which combination of EuroLeague coaches his brother reminded him of, Thanasis Antetokounmpo responded to BasketNews:
"I would say something between Saras (Jasikevicius) and Vassilis Spanoulis. Somebody who also played and was a player. Not the same character, I would say, but yes.
"Would Thanasis like to play for "Coach Giannis"?
"Absolutely, one hundred percent," he replied without hesitation.
Meanwhile, Jrue Holiday, who was sitting to Thanasis' left, playfully shook his head.
"He would play guys who play their heart out," Thanasis continued.
"Too much practice!" Holiday interjected.
"Definitely a lot of practice, but it's the complete package," Thanasis chuckled.
Coach Giannis has been 1-0 since his first head coaching experience at the Celebrity Game.
The Milwaukee Bucks star revealed he was really a fan of coaching.
"I've always wanted it. Ever since I was a little kid, I felt that I wanted to become a coach when I finish my career," Giannis told Haris Stavrou of Sport24.gr.
