Even though Madrid has made the final of every Copa since 2014, Doncic remained resolute in his belief that Real has what it takes to achieve their long-term goals.
"Madrid!" he exclaimed, without hesitation, when asked by BasketNews who he thought would be the upcoming EuroLeague champions.
"Why? I love Madrid," he said, grinning.
"They play well. Plus, they won the Super Cup, are second in the EuroLeague, and first in ACB, so they're doing well," Doncic spoke of his former team in a relaxed manner.
One of the most prominent EuroLeague ambassadors in the NBA, Doncic, also shared his thoughts on one of the hottest EuroLeague debates: should the league have an All-Star game, like the NBA?
"Yes, I'd probably watch it. I think others would, too," Doncic told BasketNews.
