Malone was a head coach for Team LeBron, which lost the game 175-184 to Team Giannis. After the game, he called NBA All-Star Game the worst basketball game ever played.
"It's an honor to be here, and it's an honor to be a part of great weekend with great players, but it's the worst basketball game ever played," said Malone.
"I don't know if you can fix it. I give Joel Embiid and Kyrie Irving [credit], those two guys were competing. They tried to get some defense in. No one got hurt, they put on a show for the fans, but that's a tough game to sit through, I'm not gonna lie," Malone added.
Jayson Tatum was announced as MVP after scoring 55 points on 22-for-31 shooting to set the record for the most points scored in an All-Star Game.
However, Giannis Antetokounmpo played only 20 seconds because of his right wrist injury, while LeBron James didn't play in the second half, eventually making Team LeBron vs. Team Giannis a game without LeBron and Giannis.
