Giannis Antetokounmpo has avoided a serious injury but will have to miss some time depending on how the swelling in his right wrist subsides.

Giannis Antetokounmpo suffered a wrist injury just before the All-Star Weekend. The additional tests have now revealed that the Milwaukee Bucks superstar avoided a serious injury.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN, the Greek Freak suffered a sprained ligament in his right wrist. The star player will undergo treatment and is expected to miss some games.

Shams Charania from The Athletic notes that Antetokounmpo has avoided serious injury and his return will depend on how the swelling subsides.

Giannis did not finish the game against the Chicago Bulls early last week and had to be sidelined during the All-Star Game on Sunday.

Moments after, the Bucks superstar fell on the floor, grabbing his right wrist. Giannis was ruled out with a right wrist sprain and did not return to the game.
