According to Sports Media Watch, last Sunday's player showcase reached a combined 2.2 rating and averaged 4.59 million viewers across TNT and TBS televisions.
It is record-low for the match with the previous lowest marks being reached the two years prior - a 3.1 rating in 2021 and 2022, and around six million viewers in 2021.
It is worth noting that LeBron James exited the game due to a finger injury while Giannis Antetokounmpo played for just 20 seconds as a prevention against aggravating the current wrist injury.
Saturday's skills challenges recorded the lowest rating in the last 20 years, Sports Media Watch notes. The Saturday night action received a rating of 1.6 and averaged 3.42 million viewers on TNT, a significantly lower number than last year (2.0 rating, 4.24 million viewers).
Friday's Rising Stars Challenge was also at an all-time low of 0.49 rating and 888,000 viewers, significantly down from last year as well (0.7 rating, 1.23 million viewers).
Interestingly, the Celebrity Game on ESPN had an increased viewership compared to last year and gathered a 0.75 rating and 1.4 million viewers compared to 0.7 and 1.29 million last year.
