The 27-year-old scored 25 points (3/5 2PT, 4/5 3PT, 7/7 FT), grabbed 2 rebounds, dished out 7 assists, stole 2 balls, and collected 35 PIR, which makes him an MVP contender in Round 25.
After the game, Guduric admitted that he will not travel back to Istanbul with Fenerbahce, but will stay in Belgrade in order to join the Serbian national team for the game against Great Britain if necessary.
"I'm staying, I'm not returning with the team to Istanbul," he told Mozzart Sport post-game. "I'm waiting to see what will happen against Greece.
I said I wanted to play for the national team and the coach [Dimitris Itoudis] told me that I could stay. But we all hope that we will win against Greece and that there will be no need to play the game vs. Great Britain under pressure," Guduric added.
The 'Eagles' meet Greece in Athens on Friday, February 24, and then on Monday, February 27, Serbia plays against Great Britain in the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall. Serbia needs one victory to qualify for FIBA World Cup 2023.
Guduric was included in the 24-man preliminary roster for the last FIBA window, alongside Vasilije Micic, Nikola Milutinov, Filip Petrusev, and other well-known names.
