The guard is averaging a career-high 16.6 points along with 3.4 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 1 steal per game for a career-high 15.8 PIR. The player has revealed that the two sides are already looking for ways to extend their partnership beyond the current season.

"There is the business of the Maccabi Tel Aviv basketball club and there is the business of Wade Baldwin," the player said to journalist Moses Barda from ONE. "There have already been talks so far about continuing my path here and we will continue these talks. As long as the talks continue, we hope we reach an agreement."

Baldwin revealed that having his firstborn child completely changed him as a person and completely agreed with the notion of FC Barcelona head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius, who famously said that it's the most wonderful thing in the world.

"I cried from happiness for the first time in my life when my son was born. After being drafted and after all the success I felt I had, it was the first time I cried from happiness," the guard shared. "It felt like the way heaven is described. I am very happy now to see my two children growing up, I think it has changed and helped my patience a lot."

With 13 wins and 12 losses, Maccabi are currently sharing 6th place in the EuroLeague standings with 4 other teams.
