Andre Iguodala thinks people need to start taking Stephen Curry more seriously. The guard's faith is real and can be seen in every aspect of his life, the veteran said, making him the closest thing he's seen to Jesus Christ.

Over the years, Andre Iguodala has been known as a fan of Stephen Curry. He's now come out with a catchy phrase to summarize it all.

Iguodala sat down with NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe on his show CLUB SHAY SHAY to talk about his career and the Golden State Warriors dynasty. When the talk turned to Curry, the veteran forward did not hide his thoughts.

"When I signed with the Warriors in 2013, you do the press conference, you say what you're supposed to say, [you stay] PC, [saying] 'I'm coming to try to win a championship'," Iguodala started off. "Nobody takes you seriously but I'm saying to myself 'I think I've met the closest thing to Jesus Christ'."

"Not to put that on him but I've never seen an individual [like him]. He doesn't stray from who he is in terms of who he is as a person so you know what you're getting night in and night out, and I can see it," he said.

Together with Curry, Iguodala has won four NBA championships as a member of the Warriors team. On top of that, he became the 2014-15 Finals MVP.

"I think y'all need to start taking Steph more seriously when he's talking because you're all so used to him being the babyface killer, this nice kid, his faith is very strong," Iguodala told Sharpe.

"His faith is strong, that faith is real. What he's saying he's really believing. Thus far, it's all come true," the player concluded.

Due to various injuries, Iguodala has managed to only play 3 games this NBA season while Curry is averaging 29.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game at the age of 34.
