Bolmaro was previously in talks with Barca but the two sides disagreed on the salary the player should receive, Jose Ignacio Huguet from Mundo Deportivo notes. The journalist writes that Barcelona offered €500,000 for the remainder of the season and a two-year contract after this season, but the player's agent felt that it was not enough.
The contact between the two sides broke down more than a week ago, Huget notes. With Bolmaro's stay with Tenerife over, Barca will be able to try and sign the player again this summer.
Before getting released, the Argentinian forward managed to play in 14 games in the NBA, totaling 6 points on just 3-for-20 shooting. He spent most of his time with the Salt Lake City Stars in the G-League where he averaged 12.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 6.6 assists during the Regular season.
