Bursa published an emotional video on Twitter, with Duverioglu announcing his decision to try to get away from basketball for a while.
"I am happy to get to know you all," Duverioglu addressed his teammates. "Due to the situation I am in, I need time to find myself again. I had bad days for reasons out of my control. I wish you success for the rest of the season. I love you all. I hope we can meet again in the future."
The 29-year-old center averaged 6.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 9.2 PIR over 12 EuroCup games this season.
Previously, he spent six seasons with Fenerbahce, including the EuroLeague title in the 2016-17 season.
Duverioglu has also won 3 Turkish league championships, 2 Turkish cups, and 3 Turkish Super cups with Fenerbahce.
