Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac underwent season-ending surgery Friday to repair a torn left adductor muscle, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

It's a brutal setback for Isaac, 25, who played only 11 games this season after missing two years with a torn ACL.

The 2017 first-round pick returned to action on Jan. 23 vs. Boston Celtics after staying out for 29 months.

He averaged 5.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game this season.

In 2019-20, over the 31 games prior to initially injuring his knee, Jonathan Isaac, then 22, averaged 12.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.6 steals, and 2.5 blocks.
