Miami Heat rookie forward Nikola Jovic still has not graduated from high school, according to Ira Winderman of the Sun-Sentinel.

Jovic, 19, said it turns out he has to attend his final exams in person in Europe instead of via Zoom, as Miami head coach Erik Spoelstra previously said.

The rest of his classmates took the exams in the spring of 2022 when Jovic was going through draft workouts.

Jovic plans to go on to college after finishing his senior year in Serbia.

Serbian basketball prospect was selected as the 27th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.

He has missed the past two months of action due to a lower back stress reaction.

Jovic appeared in 15 games prior to the injury and averaged 5.5 points and 2.1 rebounds in 13.6 minutes. He also spent some time in the G League with the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
