Ja Morant apologized to the Grizzlies organization, his family, and his fans, and announced that he will take some time away to learn how to deal with stress better.

I take full responsibility for my actions last night. I'm sorry to my family, teammates, coaches, fans, partners, the city of Memphis, and the entire Grizzlies organization for letting you down. I'm going to take some time away to get help and work on learning better methods of dealing with stress and my overall well-being.
Morant hosted an Instagram live from a nightclub where heshowed a gun to thousands of spectators. The guard has been suspended for two games for it. Morant's Instagram and Twitter profiles have since been deactivated and are not available to be found.
Most recently, a story came out that hepunched a teenager during a basketball gamein his home in Tennessee. After the incident, he allegedly re-emerged from the house with a gun visible in the waistband of his pants and his hand on the weapon.
During the summer, Morant also got involved in averbal altercation with Memphis policein one of the city's malls when he and his friends refused the security guard’s demands to leave the mall parking lot.
The Grizzlies star was recently involved in another incident involving a gun. Morant's long-time friend Devonte Packwas banned from attending Grizzlies home gamesat the FedExForum for a year after he verbally abusedIndiana Pacersplayers during and after the game. Although the Pacers believed a gun was pointed at them after the game, the NBA denied it in their report.
