Basketball data analyst Darius Garuolis published the average attendance by EuroLeague teams on his Twitter account, indicating that Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade accumulates the highest number of fans in the entire league.

An average number of 17,012 spectators has filled in the Stark Arena stands during 13 home games in 2022-23. That equals 92.0% of the arena capacity.

Four clubs -- Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv (96.7%), Zalgiris Kaunas (95.5%), LDCL ASVEL Villuerbanne (94.3%), and AS Monaco (92.7%) -- have the higher capacity-filled percentage than Partizan, but that also significantly depends on the arena size.

Meanwhile, Panathinaikos Athens has the lowest percentage of all 18 EuroLeague teams. PAO fans fill in just 37.6% of OAKA Arena this season. The Greens have an average attendance of 6,892 fans in 13 home matches. OAKA's capacity is 18,310.

No other EuroLeague club has a percentage below the 50 mark.

Panathinaikos' attendance numbers drew interest from some prominent European basketball names.

Mike James, a former PAO guard, quoted Garuolis' tweet and wrote the following words:

"I have higher standards for the Pana fans than this. I'm not up to date with the current events in the club but support your players in good or bad times," the EuroLeague star commented.

Prometey Slobozhanske high-flyer DJ Stephens backed James' opinion.

"Yeah 37% is crazy… that mf used to be packed out damn near every game when I was in Greece my rookie year," Stephens, who started his professional path at Ilysiakos B.C. in 2013-14, added about the topic.
