Harrison Barnes is an 11-year NBA veteran. He's played for three different teams in his career, and one thing has been certain - he would not get a technical foul no matter the situation. This changed Monday night against the New Orleans Pelicans.

In the middle of the third quarter, the Sacramento Kings forward received the ball wide-open near the basket. He proceeded to make the layup with Brandon Ingram sprinting to contest the shot.

Immediately after the make, Barnes started shouting 'f---ing and one', protesting what he felt was an unjust no-call. Moments later, the forward got hit with a technical foul.

It was the third Barnes technical foul in his NBA career and the first in the last 10 years. The first two technicals were given to him during his rookie season in 2012-13.

The Kings ended up winning the game 123-108. Barnes finished the match with 14 points on 5-for-11 shooting, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists. So far this season, he's been averaging 15.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists for the Kings.

After the victory, Sacramento is now third in the Western Conference with 38 wins and 26 losses.
