Green called Brooks an idiot on his podcast and Grizzlies' player reacted after the latest duel between the teams.
"That's what I do, I talk," Brooks told ESPN when asked about his message to Green. "I told him keep doing his podcast, keep blogging, keep doing his thing off the court. It's cute, it's fun for him."
At the end of the post-game interview, Brooks took another shot at Green.
"You should give the mic to Draymond, make him talk about me. Make him keep talking about me so I can play better," Brooks said.
The two players were involved in a heated moment on Thursday when Brooks stole a lazy Warriors inbound pass and converted a tough layup around Green. As Green retrieved the ball, he came face-to-face with Brooks, but that did not escalate into a physical altercation.
Meanwhile, Brooks kept verbal war alive in the locker room.
He said he wasn't mad at Green's comments: "I know I'm a better player than him. I can do the same stuff that he does, that's easy."
"The fact that he was trying to pin my teammates against me. That was a low blow. That's the type of player he is," Brooks underlined. "I ain't out there getting into physical altercations with my teammates."
Last but not least, Brooks delivered another ironic statement.
"He's using my name to get his podcast up, he should say thank you," the Canadian player said.
