Rodrigue Beaubois gets injured again, leaves the game early / News - Basketnews.com

Beaubois landed on Will Clyburn's foot while contesting Lorenzo Brown's shot and injured his right ankle. The guard hopped to the locker room on his left leg.

Anadolu Efes Istanbul's guard Rodrigue Beaubois exited the game against Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade early on Wednesday. The injury bug hit the guard again.

In the middle of the second quarter, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv's Lorenzo Brown was attempting a midrange shot with Beaubois defending the attempt. After contesting the shot, the French guard landed on Will Clyburn's foot and immediately collapsed.

Beaubois remained lying on the ground, grabbing his right ankle. He hopped to the locker room on his left leg and did not return.

The guard managed to score 6 points in 10 minutes of play.

It was Beaubois's second injury in three days. On Wednesday, he injured his other foot.

With 2 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter and the Turkish team down by 17 (74-91),Rodrigue Beauboiswas dribbling the ball near the sideline when he stepped out of bounds. In the process, he inadvertently stepped on either the floor or an opponent's foot with his left foot.

After the play, the guard immediately went to the sideline, grabbing his foot. Moments later, he had to be helped by his teammates to reach the Efes bench.
