Zalgiris coaching staff decided not to risk their player's health.

"Isaiah sprained his leg, and after consulting with our medical staff, we got frightened and decided not to let him play again," Kazys Maksvytis said following a narrow 100-94 defeat at home.

Taylor partially tore the same right hamstring in late January and was sidelined for three weeks.

The agile guard scored 11 points, dished out 3 assists, and collected 11 PIR over 13 minutes in Sunday's derby.

Zalgiris meet Olympiacos Piraeus in the next EuroLeague game. The match at Zalgirio Arena is scheduled for Thursday at 19:00 CET. Isaiah Taylor's status before the upcoming Round 29 duel is still unclear.

Taylor exploded in EuroLeague's double-round week, as he averaged 14.5 points and 11.5 PIR during the last doubleheader (Round 27 and Round 28).
