Executives will watch Sunday's Greek League derby between Panathinaikos Athens and Olympiacos Piraeus and will keep an eye on the Reds' star Sasha Vezenkov, whose NBA rights are owned by Sacramento.

Vetakis also adds that Jabour is expected to have a longer visit in Greece and spectate the Lavrio-Olympiacos game on Tuesday.

It's the second time Kings members are traveling to Greece to follow Vezenkov. Kings assistant coach Jay Triano saw the Greek Cup Final 8 live, where Vezenkov won the MVP of the tournament award.

The 27-year-old Vezenkov drew attention from the Kings past off-season but decided to stay in Europe for his fifth season with Olympiacos.

He signed a contract extension with the Reds in early 2023. The star forward had previously penned a deal to stay in Piraeus until 2024, but his new contract runs through 2025.

The dealgrants Vezenkov a bigger salary. In return, Olympiacos will receive a larger buyout if the player leaves for the NBA.
