Klay Thompson counts his rings to Dillon Brooks, Grizzlies bench / News - Basketnews.com
Klay Thompson and Dillon Brooks had a verbal exchange during the Warriors-Grizzlies game, as the former was seen counting his championship rings while on the bench.
Credit:Things are still tense between the Golden State Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies. The latest example of this came on Saturday night when the defending champions went to Memphis and lost.

The Grizzlies managed to open up a double-digit lead in the first quarter and kept the Warriors at arm's length all game en route to a 133-119 win. It was the last of four meetings between the two sides this regular season (with the Warriors and Grizzlies each winning twice).
But Klay Thompson was totally unbothered about his team's loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday.
After Warriors head coach Steve Kerr pulled his starters late in the fourth quarter, Thompson could be seen counting out the number of rings that he has (four) in the direction of Dillon Brooks and the Grizzlies bench.
Brooks had reportedly been taunting Thompson by telling him, "You suck!"
Thompson clearly wasn't amused by Brooks' tricks. After the game, the Warriors shooting guard took a few more abs at his Grizzlies counterpart:
"I don't care about Dillon Brooks," Thompson told Evan Barnes of The Commercial Appeal. "When he retires, I don’t think anyone will ever talk about Dillon Brooks ever again. I promise you. It's sweet right now, but wait 10 years."
Brooks played it down and noted that it was only friendly trash talk. "He’s got four rings, that’s all he was saying. Our motivation is, we want a ring," Brooks said, per Parker Flemming of SB Nation. He then added, "I just hold a lot of real estate over there in San Francisco."
The two teams met in the Western Conference semifinals last season (with the Warriors winning in six games and eventually winning the NBA title). Sparks also flew during the Golden State-Memphis matchup that took place last week.
Golden State are 36-36 on the year and haven't won a game on the road since January 30.
