According to Marc J. Spears from ESPN, Kings owner Vivek Ranadive missed the match due to pneumonia.
It is currently unknown whether the businessman will attend the two remaining home games against the Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs.
The Kings ended up losing the game 115-119.
With 45 wins and 30 losses, the Kings are currently 3rd in the Western Conference. If they win their next away game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday, the Kings will qualify for the playoffs.
