The Utah Jazz are signing center Luka Samanic to a 10-day contract out of the NBA G League's Maine Celtics, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The 23-year-old Croatian is averaging 20.6 points and 10.8 rebounds in G League.

Samanic was drafted 19th overall by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2019 NBA draft. The last time he played in the NBA was the 2020-21 season with the Spurs.

Then he averaged 3.7 points and 2.1 boards over 33 games (4 starts).

His rookie season involved three appearances on the court and 5.3 points per game.
