Before the game started, the Czech player was awarded a commemorative gift while more than 20 thousand fans chanted in support of him. Before departing to the NBA, Vesely played in Partizan for three seasons, helping the team reach the Final Four in 2010.

"An incredible welcome. It was very emotional," he said after the game. "It hit me at first, and then I came back to myself. It was superb. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. It was incredible. I literally remembered the old times before I left Partizan. It was really phenomenal."

Vesely finished the game with 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists for 16 PIR. When he was asked whether he'd see a comeback to Partizan as a viable possibility, Vesely didn't want to promise anything.

"We'll see. I don't want to promise something I won't keep. I played top-class basketball in Partizan and I enjoyed it," the player answered. "It was superb, we'll see."
