"I had some troubles in my personal life, and I was kind of sad. I broke up with my girlfriend, she was very important to me. It hurt. Now I am getting back into my rhythm, getting back into my life, and I am happy again," he told reporters via Mozzart Sport.

The Argentinian star made a significant contribution in EuroLeague Round 31 win against Valencia Basket, scoring 9 points and dishing 7 assists, thus showing he is slowly returning to his common form.

Vildoza admitted that the turbulent time is behind him, and he feels that the real Luca is back.

"When you have some problems in your life, your confidence starts going down. You start thinking about your life, ego, and pride," Vildoza emphasized. "I carried all that shit into the court, I was fighting with everybody. I was fighting with Dusko [Ivanovic], my teammates, journalists, everybody. I am good now. I am sorry if I said something bad to anyone. I am Luca again."

What does he feel about his current confidence level?

"I am working. I am here every day. I am coming to the arena before the practice, I am lifting, I am shooting more than I usually do, so I am trying to work hard to get back into my rhythm," Vildoza said.

The 27-year-old averages 6.4 points over the last five EuroLeague games. Before the slump, he posted 15.8 points in six matches.

Vildoza has season averages of 12.6 points, 2.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 12.0 PIR. He and his team are set to keep chasing the EuroLeague playoff hopes on Friday night, as Zvezda meet ASVEL on the road at 21:00 CEST.
