BasketNews also provides details about the sports teams that these players own.
Nikola Jokic
KK Joker
If it's not obvious yet, the Serbian basketball team is named after Jokic, but it hasn't been that way for long.
The back-to-back NBA MVP started his career playing for this team in his youth, and in 2017, the club rebranded itself in his honor.
The whole Jokic family is involved in the project, with brothers Nemanja and Strahinja also being part of the organization.

Antetokounbros
Nashville SCSpeaking of MVPs owning sports teams with their brothers, the Antetokounbros became part-owners of Major League Soccer club Nashville SC.
Why a football team in the MLS?
Apparently, they bought the team shares in honor of their father, who was a professional football player.
Gasol brothers
Basquet GironaThere's another pair of brothers, and these two come from Spain. Gasol brothers own Basquet Girona, where Marc is the owner and founder of the team, while Pau is the vice president.
What's even more interesting, Marc Gasol is still playing basketball for that same team. In 2022, he carried them to the premier Spanish division -- ACB League --, and since then, the team has been competing in the strongest domestic league in Europe.
Even after such an achievement, Marc decided not to retire and play again in the ACB after a 14-year break.
Tony Parker
LDLC ASVEL VilleurbanneAnother former NBA All-Star, Tony Parker, is the owner of one of the EuroLeague teams -- LDCL ASVEL Villeurbanne. In 2009, he bought a 20 percent stake and two years later, during the 2011 Lockout, played for the team.
In 2014, TP became the majority shareholder of the club and, after his retirement, became heavily involved in the club.
In fact, he is so involved that his brother T. J. Parker is the head coach of the team.
But you could argue Tony is investing even more of his time and effort into developing the club's youth players and the women's team.
Perhaps his biggest project so far, Victor Wembyanama, believed in Tony Parker's approach and spent the 2021-22 season with ASVEL.
LeBron James
Liverpool FCLeBron managed to multiply his initial $5.5M investment to Liverpool FC 10-fold.
The King having 2% of the English football club is a quite well-known fact, and it's clear he has invested in a sports club that is worth the most on the list with an estimated value of around $5 billion.
But that actually might not hold for very long, as LeBron has openly expressed his interest in starting an NBA franchise in Las Vegas.
The potential worth of this expansion team in Sin City could instantly go to the top of the NBA.
'King James' will have to wait until his basketball career is over, though, as the NBA does not currently allow team owners to play in the league.
Dwyane Wade
Utah JazzDwyane Wade is already ahead of LeBron when it comes to ownership of NBA teams. It might not be that known, but D-Wade is one of the Utah Jazz owners.
It's not clear how much of a stake he has purchased, but the minimum is one percent, so he must have at least that.
The Miami Heat legend should be happy with his decision since Utah's rebuild is going well after adding Lauri Markkanen to their project.
