"Not everyone will like what I'm going to say but the coaching change definitely changed everything. In the beginning, we didn't have a coach so it was difficult for us to function as a team," the player said.
"Even so, of course, with whatever improvement there is, it's still not enough. We still lose games," he continued. "There are some positive signs from what you see but we still have a way to go."
Two weeks ago, Grigonis took a subtle jab at Radonjic. This time, he clearly stated him to be one of the main issues of the team's struggles. Under the new head coach Christos Serelis, Grigonis has found his groove, averaging 10.6 points, 2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game for 12.1 PIR in the month of March.
"I'm a team player, I want to be involved in the attacking game but also include my teammates in it. If we start shooting on our own, we will go back to what was happening two months ago," the Lithuanian guard told. "It's not my decision how we choose to attack, it's the coach's. He is judged for it and he decides. All I know is that I want to help."
