With 1:25 left in the game, Thanasis drove to the basket and was roughly stopped by Boston's Blake Griffin. Immediately after the referee whistle, the two players started to go at each other.
The incident culminated in Antetokounmpo headbutting Griffin. Thanasis received a Flagrant 2 foul for his action and was ejected from the game.
According to Shams Charania from The Athletic, the Greek player received a one-game suspension for the headbutt.
The Milwaukee Bucks ended up losing the game mightily – 99:140.
Thanasis Antetokounmpo has played in 33 games this season, averaging just 0.8 points and 0.9 rebounds per game.
