Describing his daily routine, the American forward said the practice is usually around 12:00 -13:00.
"I'm a morning person, so I get up early and make myself breakfast. Many times, my wife and I go out for a walk and go to the shops, the grocery store, the bakery, or to a coffee shop," Peters opened up.
Since the first day Peters and his family set foot in Greece, the 2019 EuroLeague champion keeps repeating that the transition from Vitoria-Gasteiz has been as smooth as possible.
"I don't know if you can find a better living situation for an American anywhere in Europe. There is so much diversity in the food and the things you can do. Some days you can go to the center, visit a museum, see the history, the sights. It has a little bit of everything," he stressed.
As for basketball? At Olympiacos, Peters found "one of the best locker rooms" he's been a part of.
"The maturity we all have and a group of players who understand what is needed and who have previous successful experiences. We have past champions and we understand what it takes to be at this level," he explained.
For the 28-year-old forward, practice makes his team perfect.
"We practice to such detail that you'd think it's crazy. We train at a point where you say 'OK, these guys do the same thing over and over again'. When they see us, they say we play basketball the right way and that we are the most fun team to watch.
We've been taught everything in practice since day one and it's been hammered into our heads," he argued.
With several teams fighting for the playoffs, this season has been the most competitive in recent EuroLeague history.
"It's very difficult, but we're very happy we did it," Peters thinks. But what really stands out, according to the American sharpshooter, is the vibes at every game held in Piraeus.
"The home games are incredible, I keep saying that to my people who are in the US. I wish I could teleport them here for a game, so they can understand what it's like."
However, Peters has no doubt that his team will go all the way.
With our consistency, I don't think anyone will be able to beat us this year. We have a standard, we know what it takes and we have a group of guys who are locked in and ready for this last part (of the season)," he concluded.
