The NBA announced 6 finalists for the Sportsmanship Award where a player from each division of the league was nominated. Marjanovic has been selected from the Southwest division.

Besides Boban, Bam Adebayo (Miami Heat), Harrison Barnes (Sacramento Kings), Jalen Brunson (New York Knicks), Mike Conley (Minnesota Timberwolves), and Darius Garland (Cleveland Cavaliers) have also been named as finalists.

"The annual honor recognizes the player who best represents the ideals of sportsmanship on the court," the league notes.

First established in 1996, the award is now named after its first winner Joe Dumars. If Mike Conley wins the award, he will become the first player in the league's history to achieve four times. Previously, Grant Hill has also won it three times.

In his 8th year in the NBA, Marjanovic has been averaging 3 points and 1.8 rebounds per game.
