Nets, Cavaliers to play regular-season game in Paris in January 2024
Today, the NBA announced that theBrooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers will face off in the league’sthird regular-season game in Paris at the Accor Arena on Jan. 11,2024.
The NBA Paris Game 2024 will mark theNets’ second game in Paris, having played a preseason game in theFrench capital in 2008. Brooklyn currently features 2021-22 NBAAll-Defensive First Team and 2023 Team USA member Mikal Bridges,2023 Team USA member Cam Johnson and three-time NBA All-Star BenSimmons. The Nets have made five consecutive playoffappearances.
“We’re extremely excited to have theopportunity to compete in The NBA Paris Game 2024 and bring Netsbasketball to an international stage," Nets general manager SeanMarks said. "Our players and coaches will benefit greatly from theexperience of immersing themselves in Paris’s rich culture off thecourt.”
The Cavaliers will be playing theirfirst game in Europe. Cleveland currently features four-time NBAAll-Star Donovan Mitchell, 2022 NBA All-Stars Jarrett Allen andDarius Garland, and 2022-23 NBA All-Defensive First Team memberEvan Mobley. The Cavaliers won their first NBA championship in 2016and made four consecutive NBA Finals appearances from 2015 to2018.

The NBA Paris Game 2024 will air liveon beIN SPORTS and NBA League Pass, reaching fans in more than 200countries and territories on television, digital media and socialmedia. The league and its partners will conduct interactive fanactivities, NBA Cares community outreach initiatives and Jr. NBAyouth basketball development programming to bring the NBAexperience to fans in the French capital. The game and surroundingevents will be supported by a roster of marketing partners,including Foot Locker, La Française des Jeux, Nike andTissot.

Tickets for The NBA Paris Game 2024will go on sale at a later date, but fans can registerhere to receive presale information. NBA ID members will getpriority access to the pre-sale.
There have been more NBA players fromFrance than from any other country outside North America, including2023 No. 1 overall draft pick Victor Wembanyama (San AntonioSpurs). Live NBA games and related programming air in France onbeIN SPORTS and NBA League Pass, including 45 weekend games inprimetime last season as part of the league’s “NBA Saturdays andNBA Sundays” European primetime initiative.
