The Play-In tournament in the EuroLeague would bring even more excitement and revenue, giving new sponsorship opportunities and incentives for teams to compete, increasing their chances of reaching the playoffs.

Seeing how the 2022-23 EuroLeague regular season is going to end, once again inevitable topic comes to the surface.

The Play-In tournament.

While the newly introduced regular season in the 2016-17 campaign is a huge success from a fan's point of view, it could be made even better with the Play-In tournament introduction.

This season, it's possible that 19 wins won't clinch the playoffs berth. No matter how you look at it, not playing in the postseason with a 55.9 winning percentage is a punishment no one deserves.

What's worse, it already happened in the 2020-21 season, when Valencia Basket finished in 9th place with a 19-15 record.
