"I'm expected to continue with Zalgiris for another season," Evans told Tomer Givati from israelhayom.co.il "From my side, the answer is yes. I will stay in Zalgiris for another season."

Evans joined Zalgiris last summer on a 2-year deal. However, until the season-ending Achilles injury, Evans was enjoying a breakthrough season with Zalgiris, becoming one of the players significantly increasing his value.

Before the injury, Evans made 17 EuroLeague in the 2022-23 season, averaging 15.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 17.4 PIR per game.

Meanwhile, Zalgiris continue their battle for a spot in the playoffs without their leader on the court. With one regular season game left, Zalgiris have an 18-15 record and stand in 9th place in the standings.
