The last team to do it was the Denver Nuggets during the 1990-91 season. The 90-91 Nuggets are the ones that hold the all-time record for points allowed in a single season with 10,723 points.
Interestingly, the 90-91 Nuggets had the most productive offense in the league (119.9 points per game) but allowed a staggering average of 130.8 points per game. This year's Spurs are not similar as the team is 23rd in total offense but dead last in defense (123.1 points allowed per game).
The 22-23 Spurs are the seventh team in NBA history to achieve such a mark. The first club to ever do it was the 1967-68 Seattle SuperSonics.
After finishing the season with 22 wins and 60 losses, the Spurs hold the tied-best odds to land the number one overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.
