After extending the contracts of Lorenzo Brown and Roman Sorkin, and also reaching an agreement with Wade Baldwin, the Israeli powerhouse believes that they will soon be able to announce Bonzie Colson's stay.

At the same time, captain John DiBartolomeo has reached an agreement with the club on a new contract, Walla Sports' Arale Weisberg reports. The new deal will probably be signed for two years, and thus the guard will complete eight seasons with Maccabi.

DiBartolomeo will celebrate his 32nd birthday at the end of the season, and is currently having a great season under coach Oded Kattash. He is averaging 5.9 points per game in the EuroLeague while shooting 43.8% on 3-pointers and having only missed one of his 37 attempts from the free throw line.

In the Israeli Premier League, he has 8.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists per contest.
