Charles Barkley mimicked Rudy Gobert after his altercation with Kyle Anderson, saying that you can't run backward when you hit somebody.

"I'm Rudy Gobert," giving a laugh to everyone in the studio except Ernie Johnson Jr.
"Hey, man, I'm gonna tell y'all at home: you can't hit somebody and run backwards," Barkley added.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN, Anderson told Gobert to block some shots, to which the Frenchman replied that the forward should 'grab a f---ing rebound'.
Then Anderson told Gobert to 'Shut the f--k up, bitch', which sparked the center's reaction. Gobert tried to punch Anderson in the face, but the punch didn't land, and the two had to be separated by teammates.
The tension between the two players continued into halftime,Shams Charania from The Athletic writes. Both Gobert and Anderson had a heated verbal exchange with Anderson at one point, saying 'I'll knock your a-- out' to Gobert.
Teammates once again separated the two players before anything could turn physical, withMike Conleyserving as a leader in the situation.
Gobert was eventually sent home and suspended for the play-in game against theLos Angeles Lakers, Wojnarowski notes. Gobert later apologized for his actions on Twitter, saying that emotions got the best of him.
