If Crvena Zvezda made the playoffs, Dusko Ivanovic thinks they would have had a chance to win it all. Filip Petrusev, meanwhile, said that they could've easily made the postseason if not for mental mistakes that led to losses.

Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade have already been eliminated from EuroLeague playoffs contention. Nevertheless, the team is still living with the idea that only a couple of minuscule things left them without the chance to go to the postseason.

Filip Petrusev was certain that Crvena Zvezda could've easily made the playoffs if not for the mental mistakes throughout the year.

"I think we are all aware that we could have, maybe even easily, entered the top eight. We played well against good teams all season and won. We lost some of the games we won in advance and it cost us in the end," he said ahead of the last-round matchup against Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul.

Meanwhile, head coach Dusko Ivanovic was even more courageous in his remarks.

"I am extremely satisfied with the engagement and dedication with which these guys work. I am not [satisfied] with the result because we did not enter the playoffs, which is a shame for this team. If we had, we would have had a real chance to win [it all]," he told the media. "It is easy to talk now that you're outside [of the playoffs] but so I think."

"I think everyone can see how good, talented, and quality this team is, but there is still some regret. It's okay though, let's move on," Petrusev concluded.
