During the Bulls-Raptors game, Diar distracted Toronto by screaming in a high-pitched voice every time a Raptors player approached the free-throw line, which seemed to affect their performance as they shot just 50% from the line.

Chicago Bulls star DeMar DeRozan's daughter, Diar, became an overnight sensation after the Play-In Tournament game in Toronto.

The 9-year-old rooted against her dad's former team in a special manner. When the Raptors players approached the free-throw line and were ready to shoot, Diar started screaming in a squeaky voice.

The crazy part was the young DeRozan's tactic seemed to be working wonders, as the Raptors shot just 18-of-36 (50%) from the line.

"I've just seen it. She went viral. I have not let it soak in yet," DeRozan said in the post-game conference. "During the game, somebody missed the free throw and I looked back and was like, 'Damn, that's my daughter screaming.' I was just making sure she was all right.

"My daughter called me the other day when she was getting out of school and she just said, 'Dad, can I come to the Toronto game?'" DeRozan continued. "I remember her going to all the Toronto games when she was a kid and I almost said no because she's in school back home. But she kept asking. She was just adamant about coming to support and I said, 'All right, you can miss one day of school and come to a game.'

"I'm glad I did," he added. "I owe her some money for sure."

The Bulls beat the Raptors 109-105 on the road and advanced to face Miami Heat on Friday night in a win-or-go-home game, with a chance to make the playoffs and face No. 1 Milwaukee in Round 1 of the East playoffs starting Sunday.

Good news for the Heat: Diar's dad said she isn't going to Miami.

"No," DeRozan said. "She's got to go back to school."
