Now, he continues his reveals from the time he was with the Celtics, this time focusing on Kemba Walker. Talking with the same trainer, he published the story on his Twitter account.
"I remember writing to Danny Ainge and all the people, Mike Zerren, I said to them 'Do not play this guy through the playoffs in the bubble'. He decides to play, they decide to play him, and the guy couldn't play for six weeks into the next season once the guys were back playing. Then he had to get traded and the guy is basically not playing anymore," the trainer said.
"They mismanaged him. He was already hurt when he came to us, they didn't really do well for him," the interviewee continued. "I feel bad for him. He's a really good player and they just mismanaged him. [Executive Director of Performance] Phil [Coles] and those guys were just trying to not take care of him."
After the bubble, Walker received a stem cell injection during the offseason in the same knee he injured during the 2014-15 NBA season. The injury kept him out until January 2021.
Three years after having signed a four-year $140.79 maximum contract with the Charlotte Hornets in 2019, Kemba agreed on a two-year $17.89 million contract with the New York Knicks. After getting traded one more time and then waived by the Dallas Mavericks this season, Walker is no longer in the NBA.
On Friday, April 14th, Freedom promised to 'expose' every team in the NBA. This is the second iteration of his posts directed at the league.
He's been marked as a member of the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization/Parallel State Structure and is officially wanted by the Turkish government. Freedom's been placed on the Grey list of the Turkish Interior Ministry's 'Terrorist Wanted List'. Up to 10 million Turkish liras (~€490,000) are promised as a reward for those who give information that leads to the capture of a wanted person.
Turkey canceled Kanter's passport in 2017 and tried to deport him from Romania. He has since become a US citizen and has been living in exile.
