With just under six minutes remaining in the fourth quarter and Barca with possession, Alex Abrines collapses on the floor after contact with Alberto Abalde.

The Barca guard was defending Dzanan Musa when he stepped on Abalde's foot going backward when Abalde was setting a screen for Edy Tavares.

In immediate pain, Abrines could not put weight on his left foot and had to leave the game helped by both his teammates and the club's medical staff. In almost 16 minutes of playing time, Abrines managed to score 8 points for 8 PIR.

The organization later announced that the player sprained his ankle. Further tests are going to be done to determine Abrines' further availability, the club communicated.

With their 22nd win of the season, Barca retook the lead in Liga Endesa. Earlier in the week, Sarunas Jasikevicius' team defeated Valencia Basket to finish the EuroLeague season in 2nd place which set up a quarterfinal clash against Zalgiris Kaunas.
