With just under a minute remaining in the second quarter, Tyler Herro was diving for a loose ball at halfcourt. Unable to get it, the Heat guard remained lying on the floor after his effort.
With the Bucks eventually losing the possession, Herro continued playing the rest of the first half grimacing from pain and grabbing his right hand, and even took a corner triple.
It was later revealed that the player suffered a broken hand and will be sidelined for four to six weeks, according to Chris Haynes from Bleacher Report.
"You can't fully make up for what Tyler's been for our team all year long. Guys have to step up, including myself, including Bam [Adebayo], and whoever [coach] Spo[elstra] calls upon to do an offensive assignment or defensive assignment to bring some energy, to dive on the floor, to get a loose ball or a rebound. It's like all hands on deck all the time, now more than ever," Jimmy Butler told in the post-game press conference.
Earlier in the game, the Bucks lost Giannis Antetkounmpo as well after he fell full force on his lower back after getting fouled on a drive and was forced to leave the game with an injury.
