Los Angeles Clippers star guard Russell Westbrook has been known lately to get into altercations with supporters from various fanbases. This time, a new conflict arose during halftime of Game 1 of the 1st Round playoff series against the Phoenix Suns.

As the player was exiting the restricted area to enter the court before the second half, Westbrook was captured having a verbal conflict with one of Suns fans.

Apparently, the man, who was sitting on the couch near the exit, insulted Westbrook. The player responded by confronting the fan.

"What happened bro? Take it like a man," the fan said. "Watch your mouth. Watch your mouth, motherf---er, straight like that, watch your mouth," Westbrook answered.

It seems like the common insult of calling the guard 'Westbrick' was used as another fan was later heard saying "Westbrick's the man".

In a bizarre video, Westbrook is holding his crotch throughout the entire verbal altercation, a kid is eating straight out of a plate instead of using utensils, while another fan is balancing his food place on top of a cup.

There have been multiple instances of the Clippers guard retaliating against fans insulting him for his performance on the court. Last year, he got into a conflict with an NBA analyst Skip Bayless for calling him 'Westbrick'. This year, he's been known for asking to escort fans out of games for namecalling.

The 'Westbrick' nickname comes from Westbrook's poor shooting, combining his last name and the idiom of 'shooting bricks'. NBA fans have speculated that the Suns fan that got into the conflict with Westbrook Sunday night was the same supporter who got famous as the 'money-counting guy' back in 2021.
