According to BasketNews' findings, Real Madrid emerged as the top-performing team during the round-robin era, boasting the most regular season wins and playoff appearances.
Throughout six seasons, Madrid won an impressive 68.7% (147) of their 214 games, securing a place in the playoffs each season.
Barcelona (131), Fenerbahce (126), Olympiacos (124), and Anadolu Efes (123) followed behind in the rankings.
CSKA Moscow had the highest winning percentage among the clubs studied, with a 74.3% of 152 games won. Meanwhile, ASVEL had the unfortunate distinction of holding the worst EuroLeague record among the teams that qualified for the study, with 31.5% of 124 games won.
Khimki and ALBA ranked as the second and third worst teams with 34.4% and 35.5% of games won, respectively.
The BasketNews ranking was listed in order of team winning percentage, taking into account both shareholders and wild-card holders. However, only teams with a minimum of four years of experience in the round-robin era made the list.
Among the non-shareholder teams, Valencia Basket emerged as the top performer, winning 46% of their games over four years.
Partizan and Monaco, meanwhile, topped the list among non-qualified teams, with 58.8% and 58.7% of games won, respectively. However, it's worth noting that Partizan only played in the round-robin format this season, while Monaco has two years of experience.
CSKA and Real led the way in Final Four appearances with four each, followed by Fenerbahce and Anadolu Efes with three appearances.
Anadolu Efes, the only EuroLeague team with multiple titles during the round-robin era, won two championships.
28 different teams have each played at least one season in the EuroLeague over the course of seven years.
