After first struggling to find his place, Filip Petrusev has blossomed in Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade during the 2022-23 season. Talking about the upcoming season, his agent Misko Raznatovic shared two primary options for the player.

In an interview with Georgios Zakkas from SDNA, he said that the first goal of the offseason for Petrusev is to get established in the NBA.

"He is not just a center, he also plays at the 4, he shoots with confidence, he's athletic. I believe he is ready. I believe inti so much to the extent that I don't intend to hear proposals from Europe for the entire summer," the agent said.

"If he doesn't sign in the NBA until August, then I'll listen to Crvena Zvezda first because he really likes the environment there. In fact, I will not consider European options. I think that Filip will be in the NBA next season. If not, then, of course, he will be in Crvena Zvezda," Raznatovic shared. "Of course, many may not like this, but this is the reality."

After averaging just 5.2 points and 1.6 rebounds for 5.2 PIR in just 9:18 minutes of play during the 2021-22 season with Anadolu Efes Istanbul, Petrusev significantly increased his production this year to 10.7 points and 5.2 rebounds for 12.6 PIR.
