After famous basketball agent Misko Raznatovic shed some light on the upcoming EuroLeague season, a member of one of the teams has come out, detailing the plans the league has.

Talking about a possible Dubai expansion, Raznatovic said that it will not happen in the upcoming 2023-24 season, and the next season after it might welcome some new teams.

EA7 Emporio Armani Milan's general manager Christos Stavropoulos told the Greek ERT televisions before the Greek League game between Olympiacos Piraeus and Aris that there was no decision made regarding an increase in competitors.

"There are proposals for Dubai and for ALBA Berlin to claim a permanent license in the EuroLeague, as well as for Virtus and Valencia. We have not made any decisions. There will be 18 teams in the new season again. Starting from the 2024-25 season, it's very likely that the number of teams will increase to 20," Stavropoulos revealed.

"The presentations of the groups were made and it was important to get a picture. We will decide which teams will be in the league in the new season at the end of June," he said about the teams that could receive the wild cards.
