"It's been a very easy choice," Baldwin said. "It's been a great journey this year, we've had tremendous success. I want to continue that and grow. It's a top-notch club."
The 27-year-old has averaged 16.7 points (2nd in the league), 3.6 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 16.5 PIR over 29 EuroLeague regular-season games in 2022-23.
After his one-year stints with Olympiacos, Bayern, and Baskonia, Maccabi Tel Aviv will be the first team where Baldwin will stay for a second season.
Baldwin has shined in the second part of the EuroLeague regular season, forming a deadly perimeter duo with Lorenzo Brown. This backcourt duo produced the most points in the league down the stretch.
"Maccabi's pace was absolutely unsustainable for us. I think that they have arguably the best backcourt [Brown-Baldwin] in the competition," Virtus head coach Sergio Scariolo emphasized after the loss in Tel Aviv.
"It's difficult to find the better one. This gave them a tremendous pace. Other players followed their leaders really well."
Baldwin joins Lorenzo Brown and Roman Sorkin in tying his future with the club.
