Players, coaches, journalists and fans argue that the top league has become even more tough, which looks like a cliche, but as it turns out in practice, it is not.
Almost half of the regular season Euroleague games were decided in crunch time. According to the EuroLeague, 42% of regular season matches were decided by two or fewer possessions. That percentage is higher compared to any other year and shows how strong this year's battle has been.
The average winning margin is 10.6 points, the lowest since 2006, with 19.6% of matches judged by three points or less.
