The 2022-23 EuroLeague Playoffs begin with a bang as four offensive juggernauts battle on the first day of the postseason.

First, AS Monaco welcome Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv. The two teams shared a win each during the two regular-season matchups this year. It will be just the fifth meeting between the two clubs in EuroLeague history.

In the other matchup, Real Madrid host Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade. The two teams also shared a win each this season. Interestingly, Partizan have never won against Real Madrid in Spain.

All EuroLeague matches are broadcasted onEuroLeague TV.

Game facts:

AS Monaco vs. Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv

Around 600 Maccabi fans are expected to attend Game 1 with 300 of them purchasing the tickets individually. Monaco had the 6th best offensive rating this year, while Maccabi ranks 9th. On the defensive end, Maccabi has a slight advantage (7th vs. 8th best defensive rating). The Lorenzo Brown-Wade Baldwin IV duo accounts for the biggest points+assists contribution in the entire league. Monaco's compact arena makes it challenging for visiting teams, as they won 13 out of 17 games at home, with only Maccabi (15-2) and Olympiacos (14-3) boasting a better record.

Real Madrid vs. Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade

In the two games in the regular season, Partizan averaged 100.5 points per game, Real Madrid did not fall behind very much with 97.5. Both Partizan and Real Madrid have Top 5 offenses in the league, with the Serbian club taking 1st place by a significant margin. During the 2022-23 regular season, Tavares blocked 77 shots to become the first EuroLeague player to surpass 70 in the entire year. Tavares' average of 2.3 blocks per game this season is the third-highest in EuroLeague history. Zeljko Obradovic has more EuroLeague titles (9) than any other team in basketball history, except one - Real Madrid (10). Since he started his coaching career way back in 1991, Obradovic has won 20 out of 21 playoff series he's been in with a record of 49-13.
